Abstract

Moulds.-In moulds of the type in which a movable partition, used in conjunction with the mould walls to form the moulding space, is adapted to release the moulded block by being moved relatively to the mould, locking wedges are employed to fix the partition during the moulding operation. As shown in Fig. 1, the L-shaped liner 8, 9 is positioned and locked by a wedge 19, passing through slots in the mould walls and co-operating with wedge-shaped projections 17 on the arm 8. The L-shaped liner 8, 9 may be in two parts adapted to interfit at their abutting ends.
