Abstract

138,692. Coggan, W. H. Feb. 3, 1919. Moulds. - A number of slabs are moulded, simultaneously in a mould box provided with partitions m and removable sides l, the inner surfaces of which are provided with tongues and grooves to mould end grooves and tongues g, and with tapered bars n for forming grooves in the upper and lower edges of the slabs. The bars n engage with notches o in the sides of the box, and those for forming the grooves in the upper edges of the blocks are placed in position after the mould box has been filled with concrete and while the latter is still soft. A similar mould box is described for moulding angled slabs.
