In a valve for regulating the pressure of the gas supply to a consuming apparatus and having a valve member 7 interposed between the inlet 4 and the outlet 5 and connected to a diaphragm 10 influenced on its under surface by increased outlet pressure to move the valve towards closure and loaded on its upper surface by a weighted lever 19 whose loading effects are progressively reduced as the diaphragm moves under the increased pressure, the movements of the valve member 7 are damped by a second diaphragm 26 connected to the valve member and forming one wall of chamber 25 open to the outlet 5 through a narrow passage 27.
