693,677. Scaffolding. UNIVERSAL MANUFACTURING CORPORATION. Oct. 30, 1951 [Nov. 21, 19501, No. 25335/51. Class 20(ii) [Also in Groups I and XXV] A brace is connected to a scaffold tube 1 by means of a short vertical sleeve 17 on the end of the brace which is adapted to be slid over a vertical pin 6 on a bracket 5 secured to the scaffold tube by a bolt 8. It is secured in position by a pivoted latch 12 mounted in a slot by a pivot 13 to one side of the pin so that it normally swings into latching position. The bracket shown has two pins 6 for two braces and each pin 6 may be made long enough to take two braces.
