Class 136 (iii) The motor cycle rear wheel suspension system of the parent Specification is modified by an actuating member 5 pivotable at 8 about the frame 2 and providing alternative positions for the ends of the outer shock absorber elements 1b so that the angle between the pivoted fork member 12 and the shock absorbers 1 can be adjusted. The ends of the shock absorbers are mounted on a spindle 3 movable in a slot 6 formed in the frame 2. The member 5 comprises a pair of cam plates provided with foot rests 7 and slots 4..Each slot has a cam portion 4c for moving the spindle 3 in the slot 6 and portions 4a, 4b to guide the spindle clear of the cam portion 4c. In a modification, Fig. 4, levers 14a are provided with foot rests 7 and slots 17a, the spindle being held in adjusted position by clamping nuts. Specification 665,464, [Group XXXII], is referred to.
