728,405. Tricycles. PHILLIPS & CO., Ltd., J. A. Dec. 24, 1953 [Dec. 30, 1952], No. 32943/52. Class 136(3). In a juvenile tricycle having a cross bar 4 connected to the rear part of the frame by spaced clips 2, 3, the cross bar having hanger bearings 8 for a rotary spindle carrying the rear road wheel, the spaced clips are bridged by a strut 10 carrying a bolt 11 which passes through a lug 13 rigidly secured to the cross bar 4 and engages a nut 14 so that adjustment of the nut, when the clips 2, 3 are slackened, varies the angular position of the lug 13 and the cross bar 4 relatively to the strut 10 for chain adjustment. Specification 581,648 is referred to.
