851,091. Extending tractor wheel tracks. ZKL-ZAVODY NA VALIVA LOZISKA A TRAKTORY NARODNI PODNIK. Jan. 7, 1959 [Jan. 8, 1958], No. 691/58. Class 108(2). A front axle, particularly for tractors, extendible for adjusting the wheel track, has an extension piece 1 on which a road wheel is mounted secured on a bed formed by the bottom of the bore of an axle tube 9 which is eccentrically enlarged at its top so as to form a gap between the top of the extension piece and the top wall of the axle tube to allow for the easy detachment and removal of the extension piece 1. The latter is clamped against the bed in the axle tube by two members 3 and stirrups 4 each of which has a pin 6 to lock the extension piece against rotational and axial movement. Rotation of the extension piece during tightening or slackening of the nuts 5 is prevented by a key 10.
