Class 108(2) A motor-cycle side-car road wheel is carried by a spindle 3 rigid with the long arm 2a of an elbow-shaped lever 2 pivotally mounted at 1 on the side-car frame, the short arm 5 of the lever being connected to a spring unit 4 pivotally mounted on the chassis A at its other end. As shown, the arm 2a extends rearwardly, and the unit 4 is a combined spring- suspension and hydraulic damper unit having a liquid reservoir 7. In a modification (Fig. 1, not shown), the unit 4 extends rearwardly from its connection with the arm 5.
