686,238. Mouldings. FERNBERG, E. B.; and FERNTOL PATENTS, Ltd. May 12 1950 [June 13, 1949], No. 15707/49. Class 20(iv) [Also in Group XXV] Means for securing an ornamental channel or beading strip to the edge of a plate or panel, or to the flush edges of two plates, comprises a U-shaped clip formed in one or both its side walls with an internal rearwardly directed prong and an external forwardly directed prong. Figs. 1, 2 and 3 show the method of securing a fibre board 10 to a flanged metal sheet 11 and covering the edges with a channel strip 19 by means of a number of clips 12 having internal prongs 13, 16 directed towards the base 14 of the clip and external prongs 15, 17 directed towards the open end of the clip. Fig. 7 shows the application of a beading 27 to the edge of a plate 28 by means of clips 29 having prongs on one limb only. Further forms of clip are shown in Figs. 11, 12 and 13. Specification 686,233, [Group XIV], is referred to.
