Abstract

802,586. Spring clips. F. T. PRODUCTS, Ltd. Feb. 11, 1957 [Feb. 17, 1956], No 5055/56. Class 44 [Also in Group XIV] A fastener is formed from a single strip of spring steel bent to U-shape so as to have a U-shaped portion 11 with two arms 12, 13 and a base 13a, a prong is formed in at least one of the arms and directd inwardly and towards the base, one of the arms 13 off the U-shaped portion being extended and bent away from the open mouth of the U-shaped portion and then looped back across the open mouth of the U-shaped portion. In the construction shown two prongs 14 are provided in the arm 12, one in each edge. The clip is intended for securing framing strips 21 to the front wall 26 of a cabinet.
