685,069. Cycle-lamp mountings. BIRMINGHAM SMALL ARMS CO., Ltd. June 14, 1951 [March 23, 1950], No. 7237/50. Class 75(iii) A headlamp bracket 19 is clamped between two discs or washers 11, 13 mounted on and secured against rotation relative to the fork stem 3 of a cycle, and contacting respectively an adjustable cone member 7 of the steering head bearing assembly and a steering top nut 17, whereby on tightening the latter the bracket 19 is restrained .against turning but can be rotated relative to the fork stem 3 when necessary, e.g. to move with the brake rods when the handlebars are turned into alignment with the frame of the machine to facilitate transport.
