[Class: 110(iii)] [Also in Group XXXIII] A gas turbine plant drives an airscrew through an over-running clutch which permits the airscrew to windmill when the engine fails. The clutch may form part of a reduction gear between the turbine-compressor shaft and the airscrew or, so as to provide a brake on the airscrew, part of the compressor may be drivingly connected to the airscrew and connected to the rest of the compressor and the turbine through the over-running clutch. The airscrew has a speed-governor which controls the bladepitch and the pressure-oil pump for this control is drivingly connected to the airscrew. Specification 612,652, [Group XXXIII], is referred to.
