637,229. Gas turbine plant. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. June 21, 1946, No. 18714. Convention date, May 31, 1945. [Class 110(iii)] Residual liquid fuel is drained from the combustion chambers 1 of a gas turbine plant, which may be for jet propulsion of aircraft, by pipes 10 which lead to a valve box 11 containing a ball-valve which opens by gravity when the pressure in the pipes 10 is sufficiently low. The pipes 10 are connected to the lowest of the chambers 1 when the chambers are connected together by ducts 9 and otherwise the pipes 10 are connected to all the chambers. Specifications 590,422 and 637,223 are referred to.
