636,884. Belt tensioning pulleys. AKTIEBOLAGET SVENSKA KULLAGERFABRIKEN. Nov. 1, 1946, No. 32557. Convention date, Nov. 15, 1945. [Class 80 (i)] A bearing housing 5 which supports a belt tensioning pulley 1 and which is mounted on an arm 7 is provided with a stud 14 which abuts the arm 7 and prevents rotation of the housing both during operation and when dismantling the parts. The pulley 1 which is particularly applicable for tape-driven spinning spindles has a stub axle 2 carried by a bearing 3 within the housing 5. The latter has a tubular sleeve portion 6 screwed to receive a clamping nut 8 and end cap 9. A plate 12, which may be integral with the housing 5 closes the open end of the pulley.
