604,893. Crates. BLEWETT, R. H. Dec. 8, 1945, No. 33249. [Class 18] A metal crate for bottles has an apertured plate 18 parallel to the crate bottom. Each aperture has below it a supporting basket 21 for a bottle and formed of wire or strip metal, which is wider at the base than at the mouth. Each basket may consist of two members which cross at right-angles at the base and are attached by welding to the underside of the apertured plate. The plate is secured to members of the crate, and may be stiffened by downwardly turned flanges 23.
