[Class 18] A bottle or like supporting insert for a bottle or like crate comprises a flat sheet metal tray E having a number of rows of holes e<2> of a size and shape to receive the bottles or the like and, below each hole, a separate supporting basket F formed of two channel 1 or stirrup-shaped flattened wires or strips f the horizontal portions of which cross each other vertically below the centre of the hole and the ends of which are secured to the tray. The tray is secured to brackets or lugs b on the upright members B, L of the crate by means of screws e passing through a peripheral flange e<1> of the tray. Specification 583,519 is referred to.
