584,203. Reaping-machines. MARSHALL, SONS & CO., Ltd., and BURGESS, E. Dec. 14, 1944, No. 25085. [Class 6 (iii)] A combine harvester of the self-propelled type comprises two augers 1 behind the cutting mechanism 10, each mounted at its outer end so as to leave a gap between their inner ends, and an endless slotted conveyer 3 driven by rollers 4, 5 beneath said gap, to convey the cut crop to a second conveyer 8 and thence to a thrashing drum.
