577,502. Air-break switches. AKT.-GES. BROWN, BOVERI, & CIE. March 24, 1944, No. 5520. Convention date, Dec. 21, 1942. Addition to 530,971. Drawings to Specification. [Class 38 (v)] In a gas-blast circuit-breaker with multiple interruption for interrupting the power, connected in series with a voltage disconnecting switch, in which the multiple interruption contacts are bridged by current reducing devices as described in the parent Specification, impedances are connected in parallel with the contact pairs in groups, e.g., two at a time. With this arrangement it has been found that uniform voltage distribution is obtained over all the points of interruption equally well when the circuit-breaker opens. Specification 554,967 is referred to.
