[Class 82 (ii)] In galvanizing apparatus, the pot containing the spelter is heated by one or more electric induction heaters arranged around the pot. The pot is made of or lined with a refractory material that will not be attacked by the spelter at working temperatures in excess of 477‹ C. The induction heater may be in sections, each of which is individually controlled.
