[Class 64 (iii)] A heat-exchanger for use in either a horizontal or vertical position has headers a, a' connected by L-shaped tubes b and inlet and outlet connections c, c<1> so arranged that in either position of the exchanger the open end or lower wall of the bottom connection is not above the lower wall of the bottom header, and the open end or upper wall of the top connection is not below the upper wall of the top header.
