Abstract
434,466. Return-tube steam boilers. JOHNSON, J., Northumbria, Golf Side, Cheam, Surrey. March 28, 1935, No. 9691. [Class 123 (ii)] Straight vertical tubes 1 in an external combustion chamber are connected at their upper ends to elbows 2, which are connected to the boiler water space by horizontal tubes 3, and at their lower ends to an external header 4, which communicates with the bottom of the boiler through pipes 6. Specification 381,112 is referred to.
