[Class 123(ii)] Water-tubes b arranged within a boiler flue a to increase the steam generating surface and to promote the water circulation are connected at one end to a divided annular header c and at the other end to a hemispherical header d resting freely on a support k in the flue. Baffles l direct the furnace gases over the water tubes in a sinuous path. The annular header may be formed in separate upper and lower parts and it may be supported within the flue instead of outside as shown.
