548,243. Covers for pouring apertures for containers for liquids. LAKEY, R. P., and INGS, G. M. Dec. 11, 1940, No. 17535. [Classes 66 and 125 (iii)] A bottle or other container for liquids has its pouring opening covered by a member 17 containing a washer and carried by a hand lever 10 pivoted at 11 to a fitting carried by a lug 14 on a spring collar 15 which secures the collar to the vessel. A pair of springs 12 is pivoted on the members 10, 14.
