[Class 69 (ii)] [Also in Group XIII] The operating liquid of a hydraulic transmission B of a vehicle driven by a liquid-cooled internal-combustion engine A is cooled in a heat-exchanger D by a part of the engine cooling-water circulated in parallel with that through the engine jacket and between the engine radiator E and the heat-exchanger by a pump C driven from the primary shaft b<1>. The operating liquid may circulate through a coil d<1> surrounded by the cooling-liquid in the heat-exchanger, which may be built as a unit with the transmission casing.
