485,825. Boring and turning mills. SOEST & CO., GES., L. Sept. 6, 1937, No. 24297. Convention date, Sept. 5, 1936. [Class 83 (iii)] A boring and turning mill has two columns 1 and 5, one of which 5 is detachable from the cross-rail 2 carrying the slide rests 3 and is movable in the longitudinal direction of the cross-rail along the bed 7 carrying the work table 6, the latter being also displaceable in the same direction. The cross-rail is clamped, when in its vertically adjusted position, to the movable column by bolts 4.
