Abstract
467,497. Roller blinds. MATHIESON, A. S. Nov. 2, 1936, No. 32540/35. [Class 20 (iii)] One end - supporting bracket 1 for a roller blind has an elongated open bearing aperture 2 and a sliding stop 4 adapted to close the opening. The stop 4 has a slot mounted on pins 5, 6, and a forward extension 22 by which it is raised when engaged by the blind spindle. The stop also has a projection 21 adapted to be engaged by a pawl 16 and to be raised thereby.. The pawl has two teeth 20 to engage the ratchet 18 of the blind on either side. The brackets 1 and 7 may be attached to a lath 8 having a groove 9 for the inward projecting ends 10 of the brackets, the lath being secured to the frame by screws 13 passing through slotted parts of the brackets. The inner ends of the limbs 10 may have a projection 15 adapted to enter into the lath.
