[Class 87 (i)] [Also in Group XXII] A facing-tile comprises a thin meta plate a and an insulating backing b o: felt and bitumen, and is provided witl a rounded chamfer d extending to its edges. The face of the tile may bE decorated by painting, varnishing lacquering or enamelling. The tile is made by cutting out from a metal sheet with felt stuck to the back thereof The tiles may be fixed to a surface by nailing, cement or an adhesive such as siccative bitumen and rubber-like material. A number of tiles of various sizes may be stuck to a backing sheet to form a larger unit.
