442,552. Glazing window frames. SLEIGH, H. L., CHESTON, A. S., and STUART, F. J., Widney Works, Bagot Street, Birmingham. Aug. 14, 1934, No. 23396. [Class 20 (iii)] A window or other panel is detachably re tained in its frame by a grooved rubber or like resilient strip adaptec when applied to the panel to be inserted by a transverse movement into the frame and re tained therein by a de pending flap 14, sprung behind a depressed lip 6 The outer wall of the frame has a projecting lip 5 beneath which en gages the face of the strip. The strip may be recessed at the front and formed with an extended lip 15 to engage a recess in the frame, Fig. 5. The sides of the strip normally approach each other so that, when separated by the panel, the base 14 is forced downwardly against the frame.
