519,411. Fastenings. MOESSMER, E., and BRITISH ELECTRIC RAY, Ltd. May 5, 1939, No. 13535. [Class 44] A fastening device for doors consists of a pivoted member 5, 6 secured to the door provided with a curved recess 9 and a lip 10 which engage with a curved projection 4 of a socket member 2 flush-fitted into the door jamb. The contacting surfaces are arranged to urge the door against its frame and also towards or away from its hinges. The part 5 may be provided with the projection to co-operate with a recess in the socket member 2.
