Abstract

471,073. Glazing windows; bolts. CRITTALL MANUFACTURING CO., Ltd., and CRITTALL, W. F. Feb. 28, 1936, No. 6048. [Class 20 (iii)] [Also in Group XXV] A channel shaped glazing bead 1 for use with metal windows has a glass-engaging face inclined inwardly from the edge of the pane and into contact therewith to retain the filling 6 in which the pane is bedded. The bead is formed of bent metal strip and is secured by studs having projections 8 secured by rotation beneath non-circular holes in the frame. The projections 8 may be cam-shaped as shown in Fig. 2 and the stem may be slit at 10 as shown in Fig. 1 to enable them to be sprung into position.
