437,057. Binding machines. INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER CO. OF GREAT BRITAIN, Ltd., 259, City Road, London.-(International Harvester Co. ; 606, South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, U.S.A.) July 25, 1934, No. 21733. [Class 6 (iii)] [See also Group XXIV] A sprocket wheel for driving the packer shaft of a sheaf-binding machine, comprises two separate parts : (1) a hub 1 non-rotatably mounted on the shaft 3, and (2) a flange 15 mounted, as by a sleeve 7, substantially concentrically with the shaft 3 in such manner as to permit a limited radial movement between the parts. The sleeve 7 carries sprocket - toothed sectors 9 interposed with gaps at 12 between similar sectors 4 on the hub 1, the sprocket sectors being flexibly connected by a chain 29. In the form shown, the sleeve 7 is supported by bearings 21 in a fixed sleeve 20 and located by a screwed projection 24 on an end-plate 23.
