Abstract
415,815. Pipe joints. P.D.M. FITTINGS CO., Ltd., 2, Forth Street, and DRUMMOND, W. F., Oakfield House, Pleasance, both in Edinburgh. March 9, 1933, No. 7110. [Class 99 (i).] In a pipe joint of the kind in which the flared ends of the pipes are compressed on a coned ferrule A by internally tapered coupling members, the conical surfaces of the ferrule are formed throughout with upstanding annular V-shaped projections. A nut H screws on to the internally tapared collar F and engages a shoulder J on the sleeve G which is selected to fit the flared end of the pipe. The sleeve G may be wholly within the nut.
