Abstract

399,739. Fourdrinier paper-making machines. VOITH, W., VOITH, H., and VOITH, H., (trading as VOITH, J. M.), Heidenheim, Brenz, Wurtemberg, Germany. April 18, 1933, No. 11398. Convention date, April 16, 1932. [Class 96.] In a Fourdrinier paper-making machine, in addition to, or instead of some or all of the table rolls, are used bars A which are stationary when in use but are adjustable to regulate the quantity of water flowing from the wire. The bars A are of rectangular or trapezoidal cross section and, are made of, or have a renewable head of indiarubber, wood, vulcanite, glass, metal, &c., the adjustment being both individual and collective vertically or along the wire or about pivots a<1>.
