Abstract
399,435. Radiators for heating buildings. HELLEN, J. L., Kl÷fta, Norway. May 6, 1933, Nos. 13256 and 13257. Convention dates, May 7, 1932, and April 19, 1933. [Class 64 (ii).] In a radiator for heating buildings comprising back and front plates 1, 3 connected along their edges, the back plate is provided with undulating hollow ribs 2 communicating with each other through narrow channels. The front plate may be plain or provided with horizontal and vertical depressions 5 forming channels communicating with the hollow ribs. Shorter ribs 2a, 2b are disposed between the inlet and outlet sockets 6, 7. The radiator may be strengthened with transverse iron bars welded to the tops of the ribs.
