Abstract

395,031. Endless - belt conveyers. BROADHEAD, R. W., Dodona, The Avenue, Ashton-on-Mersey. Jan. 13, 1932, No. 1014. [Class 78 (i).] A conveyer system for coke, coal, and the like comprises an endless belt or band conveyer a upon which the material rests during conveyance and an endless push plate conveyer e superposed thereon and moving at the same linear speed. The plates d are shaped to conform to the belt contour to provide bucket-like receptacles in conjunction with the belt surface. The material may be fed to the receptacles either between adjacent runs of the conveyers or through a shoot g or shoot f leading to a boot h.
