[Class 97 (i).] In an objective comprising four lenses, three of which are collective and enclose a dispersive lens, one or both of the collective lenses behind the dispersive lens consists of a dispersive element and a collective element, the latter having a higher refractive index and lower dispersion than the dispersive element.
