Abstract

317,697. Langton, B., and Dallmeyer, Ltd., J. H. Jan. 2, 1929., Lenses.-Photographic objectives comprising two collective and two dispersive lenses arranged symmetrically about the diaphragm are corrected for spherical aberration, coma, astigmation. distortion, and curvature of the field and in addition for three colours. The collective lenses are of high refractive index and nu-value and the dispersive lenses are of low refractive index and medium nu-value. The dispersive lenses are next to the diaphragm. Numerical data for two examples, having aperture values cf f/14 and f/10, are given in the Specification.
