[Class 58.] A thrashing-machine having a second dressing mechanism c arranged laterally of the thrashing-machine proper and the first dressing mechanism b, has a widened chamber f formed between the sieve g of the second dressing mechanism and the discharge pipe e for the cavings and light impurities. A channel h arranged at the bottom of the chamber f returns any grain that may be carried into the chamber to the thrashing-machine and preferably to the first dressing mechanism. An adjustable flap i regulates the blast passing between a plate m and a lower sieve n. A second flap k permits all material to be blown out of the second dressing mechanism when desirable.
