370,731. Safety razors. SCHATZ, A., 16, Lerchenfeldergiirtel, Stadtbahnviadukt, Vienna. June 8, 1931, No. 16695. Convention date, June 7, 1930. [Class 30.] A safety-razor blade has hollow-ground edges 2 and a hollow-ground resilient middle part 1 formed in one or both sides so as to leave ribs 3 substantially at the middle third of the total blade width. The outer hollow-ground parts 2 are bent resiliently downwards by the clamping plate and form a crescentshaped space between the edges of the blade and the guard which receives the lather without reducing the elasticity of the cutting edge.
