Abstract

356,608. Mixing-apparatus. LENART, P., Hochhaus, Hansaring, Cologne, Germany. Dec. 24, 1930, No. 38928. Convention date, Oct. 29. [Classes 23 and 86.] In mixing apparatus of the kind comprising a rotary disc mounted beneath a dished member, the material being drawn through a central hole in the member, the disc and dished member are supported by a vertically adjustable carrier to enable them to be supported at different levels in, or be withdrawn from, the mixing vessel. The dished member 11, which may be provided with a ring 19 supported by brackets 20, is supported by rods 14, guided in lugs 13 on a housing 9, and connected by a cross-head 15, having a handle 16. The rotating disc 12 is carried by a shaft 17 splined to a bevel gear 10 driven from a shaft 5. In a modified construction, the rods 14 are raised and lowered by means of a hand winch.
