348,954. Shedding mechanism. DUKE, C. W., 24, Duckworth Street, Blackburn. July 12, 1930, No. 21137. [Class 142 (i).] An adjustable rod e for operating shedding levers g<1>, g<3> through a link g2, for operating the griffe of a jacquard, or the T-lever of a dobby, is connected to an arm E on a shaft D carrying an arm a<9> in which a roller a<6> works while guided in a slotted bracket c. The roller is carried by an arm a<5> operated by an eccentric A which is adjustable angularly on its shaft, or in pitch. The bracket C formed in two parts bolted together and adjustable for wear gives a dwell at each end of the oscillation of the shaft D. In a modification, the slotted arm a<9> is replaced by a rod moving freely through a hole in the shaft D.
