363,380. Loom dobbies. HOLLIDAY, J. and HOLLIDAY, J., 159, Whalley Old Road, HINDLE H., 1, Edmund Street, both in Blackburn, and AITKENHEAD, W. A. C., Cranbrooke, Pleasington, near Blackburn. Aug. 12, 1930, No. 24092. [Class 142 (i).] The rocking lever 1 for operating the draw knives of a dobby is oscillated by means of a pivoted cam lever 6 having a slotted cam 7, the end portions of which are formed concentric with the cam lever pivot 9 to provide a dwell during picking. An adjustably mounted pivot 5 at one end of the lever 6 forms a connection with the usual lifting rod 4 and by adjusting the length and position of the latter a variation in the length of dwell is obtained. An arm 10, provided with a latch 11 for operating the pattern barrel 12, may be keyed to the pivot 9 or otherwise associated with the lever 6.
