Projectiles. - The choke of a steel-tubed rocket is formed of steel, cast iron, or hard brass and has a discharge orifice with a curved entrance and a substantially parallel throat. In one construction, the choke 2 is screwed in to the rocket tube 1 containing propellant material 3. Since the choke 2, owing to its curved entrance. does not bear against the rear end of the propellant material, the diaphragm 4, made of celluloid or like rigid combustible substance, is shaped as a, complete or truncated cone. Holes 4a mav be provided therein to ensure the firing of the rocket charge,
