Abstract

1,007,227. Bullets. GEVELOT. July 30, 1963 [Feb. 14, 1962; Aug. 6, 19621, No. 30152/63. Heading F3A. A projectile has a core of synthetic material and a metallic jacket closed at the rear end. The core 3 is secured within the jacket 1 and has a pointed forward end 5, which may be truncated, and a recess 4 to give the assembled bullet a smooth surface. The jacket may or may not have a bottom 2. In an embodiment a hollow core is formed having its cavity extending from the rear face and into the pointed forward end.
