Revolving-cylinder pumps. - In swash-plate pumps and motors comprising a cylinder rotor b and a stationary valve plate g, the cylinders c may have their ends entirely open to form ports, and the rotor is' held against the valve plate by means comprising a flange in which are cylinders containing pistons k forced against a fixed flange m by liquid admitted through passage n. Springs p maintain the contact when the machine is running in the no-stroke position.
