Breech actions, sliding breech-block; attaching bayonets to guns. - Relates to gas-operated guns, and consists mainly in attaching the gas chamber to the barrel by a bayonet-joint. As shown, the. gas chamber 40, Fig. 1, has a plug 39 provided with lugs 42 which form a bayonetjoint with a groove 44 in the stock 37, whereby the plug 39 is secured tightly against the barrel 36. The stock 37 is extended forwards and provided with grooves 46, Fig. 3, and a notch 45 for the attachment of a bayonet.
