Abstract
305,508. Coursey, P. R., and Dubilier Condenser Co. (1925), Ltd. Aug. 30, 1927. Thermionic generators.-Means for generating high-frequency current, say for electric furnaces, comprises a thermionic valve 1, an associated tuned circuit and a utilization circuit 4 which is remote from and not magnetically coupled to the other apparatus. The Figure shows a valve fed through a choke 10 and having coils 2, 12 in the anode and grid circuits respectively. The high-frequency currents are established in the circuit 3, 4, a point in which may be earthed. A further coil may be placed across the condenser 3 so that more stable operation of the valve is obtained. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 229,809, 254,424 and 255,162.
