Endless-band conveyers, fibrous material carried on; continuous-discharge appparatus, rotary. - Masses of loose textile fibre are opened in a devilling- machine A and subjected to a preliminary drying by hot air in a rotary drier B and a final drying in an enclosed endless-band drier D through which hot air is passed. The driers are enclosed in chambers provided with side-heating compartments, the air being drawn by fans alternately through the compartments and the driers.
