Abstract
254,980. Igranic Electric Co., Ltd., (Cutler-Hammer Manufacturing Co.). Dec. 22, 1925. Automatic starters.-The starter comprises a line switch 1 and an accelerating switch 2. the latter operated by an electromagnet 2a controlled. jointly by a current relay 6 and an auxiliary switch 7. A spring 15 tending to close the auxiliary switch is put under strain by the closure of the line switch but the response is delayed by the inertia of the member 13, and in addition the relay 6 is held open until the current is reduced to a determined value.
