Abstract

251,201. Edwards, A. S. Dec. 9, 1925. Sliding doors.-A sliding and folding door consists of three hinged parts, the part A hinged to the frame being approximately one-quarter, and the parts B, C three-eighths, of the full width. The part C is suspended at a point one-quarter of its width from the hinges by a swivelling pulley E running on a metal track F. The part A is hinged so as to lie clear of the doorway when opened. The hinge between A and B is on the inside and that between B and C is on the outside. The door may close into a rabbet or recess in the jamb.
